Wiseman's Christmas Party Page!

This is just a reference page with a bunch of mainly computery-related things for over Xmas.

Computer Games

Human Fall Flat

Ice Level

I think we only got about halfway through this last time, and we had only just got the snowboards too! Maybe now that everyone knows their way around the controls now...

Everyone should already have this on Steam.

Viscera Cleanup Detail

Santa's Rampage

Tragedy! Santa; the toy giving folk-hero, and purveyor of fine Christmas goods, has had enough. Endless requests from greedy children wanting more and more every year, tax increases, pressure from elf unions, bills, reindeer!

Everyone probably already has this installed on Steam.

Astroneer

Project CHEER Delivery Event

Yay they added a festive event! Also we should find that last chess piece...

Everyone has this on Steam.

Golf With Your Friends

The Deep Update

Aw, looks like there still isn't really a Christmas themed level for this... yet.

I'm sure everyone already has this installed!

PULSAR: Lost Colony

We still haven't completed the game on our big original save, even though the story is apparently now complete! (The game is no longer in beta).

Everyone has this on Steam.

Project Zomboid

Build 41 Multiplayer

Ok, yeah, not exactly the most Christmassy of games out there. But guh, they've finally made multiplayer work on the latest version of the game (which is sooo much better). Check out the (fan-made) video. It showcases some of the new stuff quite well.

On Steam.

Mystery Game

Oooohh, what's in the box?

Valheim

Build 41 Multiplayer

Ok, yeah, not exactly the most Christmassy of games out there. But guh, they've finally made multiplayer work on the latest version of the game (which is sooo much better). Check out the (fan-made) video. It showcases some of the new stuff quite well.

On Steam.

Couch Games

Overcooked!

Have we given this a shot since upgrading the TV yet?? Probably a bit easier to see what's going on now...

Lynn has this.

Overcooked! 2

This one was even harder to see what's going on originally, so, yeah, maybe better now!

This is the one with the Christmassy levels.

Lynn has this too.

Quiplash

For 3-8 Players and an Audience of thousands! Your phones or tablets are your controllers! The gut-busting, say-anything, no-rules party game!

Cara has this.

Fibbage XL

The Hilarious Bluffing Party Game in standalone form! Fool your friends with your lies, avoid theirs, and find the (usually outrageous) truth. “The mayor of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky is a ____.” Baby? Rabbit? Ham sandwich?

Cara has this too.

Jackbox Party Pack 3

More jackyboxy games.

Aaaand, Lynn has this too (not Cara, she has all the other Jackbox stuff).

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Explore a neon galaxy in your very own battleship in this 1- to 4-player couch co-op adventure.

Lynn has this.

Board Games

Monopoly: Christmas Edition

Find out who is the best Scrooge!

Cluedo

Either the classic original, Harry Potter version, or online version!

221b Baker Street

221B Baker Street is the London address of the most celebrated fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his dedicated companion, Dr. Watson. In this detective game you start at 221B and travel through the streets and alleys of London picking up clues and attempting to solve the most intriguing cases Holmes and Watson have ever faced.

Films

It's A Wonderful Life

An angel is sent from Heaven to help a desperately frustrated businessman by showing him what life would have been like if he had never existed.

The Muppet Christmas Carol

Sadly, Disney *still* hasn't managed to get the original version put together, even though they supposedly found the original footage...

Will need to make do with the DVD version! (unless we want to find a VHS player and the video in the loft.....!)

The Muppet Christmas Carol

I got bored of waiting for Disney to put the original version back together, so I just did it myself.

Someone had uploaded a LaserDisc rip of the missing scene to YouTube. LaserDisc a fair bit better than VHS, but not as good as DVD. The audio is way better though, better than CD even! I edited this together with a BlueRay rip of the rest of the film. See if you can spot the joins!
